Our Winter 2012 dates will be:

Cupcakes and Pupcakes Fall 2011
Everyone seemed to enjoy our first “Cupcakes and Pupcakes” events – so we’ve scheduled some more! We’re now planning for the first Thursday of the month, and we hope you’ll join us at the clinic between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm to sample a yummy cupcake from Simply Cupcakes.
Of course, your pooch can have a snack, too, because Top Dog Kitchen will be providing all-natural, handmade dog treats. Check our Facebook page for details on the featured treat of the month.
Leashed, well-mannered pets are welcome — but if your buddy isn’t such a “party animal” you can take home a “doggie bag.”

Cupcakes and Pupcakes – Aug to Oct 2011
As we enter our second year, we’d like everyone to join us for a little treat. If it’s the first Wednesday of the month, you can stop by the clinic between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm to sample a yummy cupcake from Simply Cupcakes.
Of course, your pooch can have a snack, too, because Top Dog Kitchen will be providing all-natural, handmade dog treats. For the first Cupcakes and Pupcakes event in August, Top Dog Kitchen will feature their Top Dog Kitchen Mini Mutt Muffs, made with black strap molasses, carrots and pure peanut butter made from scratch from only peanuts. Freshly baked and absolutely no added animal fats, dyes, salts, sugars or preservatives.
Leashed, well-mannered pets are welcome — but if your buddy isn’t such a “party animal” you can take home a “doggie bag.”

Open House Photos – October 2010
Thanks to everyone who attended our Open House. We enjoyed meeting you all — and the pets that joined in seemed to have a good time, too! Many thanks as well to our friends that brought the yummy snacks, and our Pet-Friendly companies (Hills, Pfizer, Royal Canin, Novartis, Idexx, The Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Eco-Quest Nature Tours, and Sutherland’s General Store) for providing prizes and “goodie bags.” It was so much fun, we may just do it again next year!

SEPTEMBER 3, 2010: At the Conservancy Wildlife Clinic: Our volunteer vets are priceless
An eastern screech owl and an osprey were among the 31 animals admitted to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic over the past week. Other admissions include an eastern kingbird, an ovenbird, five sandwich terns, two peninsula cooters, a gopher tortoise, five grey squirrels and an eastern cottontail.
Clinic caravan
This week, Conservancy Clinic team members were busy transporting animals to various volunteer vets in our area for examinations. The first trip was to East Naples to see Dr. Tonya Loreman at Sabal Palm Animal Hospital so she could examine an infant squirrel.
SEPTEMBER 1, 2010: Naples veterinarians join forces to open new business
Two Naples veterinarians have teamed up to create a new veterinary practice in the area. Sabal Palm Animal Hospital, located on the corner of Rattlesnake Hammock Road and CR 951 (Collier Blvd), is now open and accepting new patients.
After months of planning and construction, practice owners Dr. Tonya Loreman and Dr. Shelley Gothard unlocked the door to their new business on July 12, 2010. Their first official patient was a chihuahua with an upset stomach, and after he made a full recovery his owner referred other clients to the practice. “It was a long process to get to our opening day,” said Dr. Loreman, “but it’s very rewarding to see so many nice people who want to take good care of their pets.”
