Dani – Technician

Dani grew up in a household in central Massachusetts that was always taking in new and different pets. She has a BS in Marine Science from Eckerd College, as she was originally intending on pursuing a career working with marine animals.  However, after her golden retriever, Duke, came in to her life, she quickly discovered her passion for working with domestic animals.

Ever since then, she has been pursuing a career as a dog trainer and behaviorist, specializing in socialization.  After successfully rehabilitating a dog to receive his Canine Good Citizen, she took an internship with Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (home of the TV show “DogTown” as seen on the National Geographic channel), where she finetuned her skills.

She believes that the ultimate goal of dog training should be about developing the bond with your dog, and therefore should be fun for both human and dog.
